Birders, For all of those interested in sea-birds I recommend having a look at David Attenborough's "Life in the Freezer" series. It has some incredible footage of the birds of the Antarctic in and around their natural habitat. Snow Petrels nesting in the centre of the continent, LIght-Mantled Sooty Albatross doing their coutring dance and display flight, many of the birds on the wing, showing the diagnostic features perfectly. Gave me the taste for another Pelagic too... -- Evan Beaver Lapstone, Blue Mountains, NSW lat=-33.77, lon=150.64 =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
