Bribie Island and Database queries

Hello,

I wondered if anyone could help with the following queries:

1) I won't be back there until sometime next year, but I wondered in the 
meantime if anyone could tell me if there is a bird club/group which covers the 
Bribie Island, Qld, area?

2) Is there some form of database package available to purchase covering 
Australian birds (for keeping your personal records and lists on)? If so, where 
could I get a copy from?
