Dramamine for me.  Taken the night before  - makes me unbelievably  
sleepy for the first hour or two, and drowsy on and off for the rest  
of the day.
But worth it 100 times over to be able to look for birds instead of  
for a clear meter of gunwale to lean over ...


Makes me wonder, though ... when will ASADA / BOCA / BARC decide to  
get tough on drug-cheats????

Can't you just picture it - being drug-tested at the end of a long  
pelagic?  Any birder with proscribed substances being banned form  
pelagics for two years - or worse still, not being allowed to count  
that day's ticks!!!
