I don't want to stir anyone up, but it seems that this particular thread has
no real content as I doubt anyone on birding-aus would disagree with either
of these two propositions:

"You can see pelagic bird spp that you can't see from land on pelagic trips"
&
"Pelagic trips are sometimes wet and unpleasant"

What happened is that Edwin made a humourous remark and this was taken
literally by some people, and so the thread started....

If people take umbrage at certain remarks on birding-aus (these included)
could they, before hitting the reply button, try to imagine a liberal supply
of :-) marks in the message they are offended at.
