Hello everyone, heard my first returning Pallid Cuckoo at Wilberforce today. On
the 8-8-07 observed a Brown Treecreeper on a private property at East
Kurrajong, this is the first Brown Treecreeper I have seen in the Hawkesbury
for over 15years.
The pair of Rufous Whistlers that have over wintered at my home for the past
three years started singing this week after being silent for the past 2.5
months except for an occasional quiet single note.My question is, are the
Rufous Whistlers which migrate north from the east coast, also silent in the
winter months.
