From: David Taylor <> Date: 11 August 2007 6:51:37 PM To: Birding-aus <> Subject: Pied Geese at Sherwood Forest Park, BrisbaneI visited the Sherwood Forest Park lakes at Sherwood in Brisbane this afternoon and saw at least 6 Pied Geese on the second lake, This is certainly the first time I have seen this species there. Certainly the habitat has always looked OK to attract Pied Geese. I was chatting to a local who said it was the first time he had seen them there.Other may have recorded them there before though? Or perhaps its a new bird for the park?It will be interesting to see if they hang around.
