I bought an eighth edition on the weekend (from Big W - around $30),
to replace my first edition that I keep as a shelf reference. One of
the copies had alignment issues on some of the pages where the map
colours were offset from the map outline; the species heading also
appear "blurry" for the same reason. The other copies didn't have
the problem, so it pays to flick through to pick up any obvious
problems.

(I didn't judge the colours because of fluorescent lighting.)
