 1. About 2 years ago I was travelling along the Mt Lindsay H/way just south of
the Qld Border,
following a summer shower and saw an eastern and a pale-head rosella bathing in
rain puddles on
the bitumen. They then flew off together and appeared paired. Their ranges
overlap and quite a
few years ago I saw a pale-head near Grafton well south of usual range. Quite
a few other birds
were also bathing on the bitumen.

2. On 14.11.06 at Gumley near Wagga I saw what I thought to be an Adlaide
rosella on the
ground at the side of the road. I queried this with Alan Morris as a possible
avairy escapee and he
replied that it was probably a yellow/crimson hybrid as he had seen one one
along the river at
Gundagai several weeks previously. The crimson rosella were in the town trees
and the yellows
were along the river.
