Local councils across Australia have more than enough to worry about with Magpies, I doubt they would raise any concern about the almost always inoffensive Magpie-larks. By the way did any of you see the Landline program (ABC TV) about the problem that Tamworth (NSW) council and local grape farmers are experiencing with the huge flocks of Starlings. (Eating all the grapes and fouling the street scape with droppings.) Philip |
