They live further south I think - around Earlwood and Dulwich Hill. You hear
them every few days round here (Cooks River area). Very rarely see them
close but they did massacre a few banksia robur cones 6am one moring in my
garden.

Hi birders
On Sat at midday I saw a group of 12 + YTBC flying north though the
intersection of Crystal St and Stanmore Rd.
This morning (Wednesday) 9.30 am 8+ landed in the she-oak in the next door
garden (cr Old Canterbury Rd and Toothill St). Sadly they didn't stay long
but headed off north-westish.
I have not seen such large numbers of YTBC in this area. I'm not sure where
they are eating - I had wondered about Callen Park Rozelle but I've not had
a chance to have a look yet.
