I've a women's group called The Scrubfowls.
Deb, the sister of one of our number, Sue, was nearly killed after falling
from her horse recently. Severely brain-damaged Sue feared she wouldn't
recover. However, after a couple of weeks Deb regained consciousness and
seems to be coming along well.
We sent her some flowers, and Deb in a phone call to Sue asked her to thank
"the scrub-turkeys". Much laughter all round! We think she's going to be
okay.
