Bill Moorhead reports seeing the Black-tailed Gull at Geraldton todayThe story regards the Red-legged Crake is that a lady spent most of Friday 15 June at the Whim Creek Hotel without seeing it. As she departed, it appeared. Staff chased her car without success! Bill Moorhead & others spent most of Saturday and some time Sunday morning, 7.5 hours in all searching there without success so he reckons it has gone. A small black cat was present but no feathers found and he thinks it unlikely the cat took it but might have frightened it off.
