Greetings,This male Kestrel has a dark head from the crown to below the eye at least on the left side. All other colouration seemed normal. first thought it was a hobby as it flew towards us but then it hovered in good view and flew to a post. Departed before I could get around to its other side to see it the pattern was consistent. Given their territorial habits and that it was a mature bird it may well be seen there again.
