Dear Birders,
I am catching the 7:10 am flight from Perth to Karratha tomorrow (Sunday June
3) and have booked a car to drive to Whim Creek. If anyone would like to share
the car they are welcome. I am leaving Karatha to return to Perth at 10:40 on
Monday. I have no idea about accommodation at this stage!

While in the west I am also going to Geraldton on Monday afternoon looking for
the gull.

Other birds of interest in the area are Lttle Noddy and Chiming Wedgebill. I
gather that the LN is unlikely to be on the Abrolhos at this time of year - any
comments? Seems like the CW is common somewhere between my two twitch sites - I
would welcome suggestions as to where the nearest spots might be for this
species.
Regards
Peter Marsh
