Dear allDavid Hollands mentions attacks by Rufous Owls when he was setting up to photograph a pair at their nest site. He and a mate entered the hide and then he remained and the mate left, hoping this would persuade the owls that the hide was now empty. The mate got violently attacked by the male bird as he walked away. Then male bird also came and sat very near his hide and glared at him - you'd need David to tell the whole story. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
