Can anyone direct me to a source of information on the different ways prey
attack and position their victim. I believe owls and raptors have different
ways of dealing with the carcass to gain their food .
The discovery of a freshly killed raven in a bush section led to discussion
amongst a group of birdwatchers raising more questions than answers. The raven
was beheaded, all the breast was plucked of feathers which spread out about a
metre square. The belly was the most devoured but red meat was still present.
It was found belly down but the back had also been attacked.
I would appreciate any tips on where to find more information please.
