As I was washing my car this afternoon (20//07), I heard the unmistakable "tink.. tink" call and then saw 3 Swift Parrots fly quite low over our backyard and heading north. Sometimes, I wonder if I should just stay at home on the survey weekend and look out for them. I have seen them a few times over the years from our backyard. A nice way to end the Swift Parrot survey weekend! Edwin Vella PS - there has been other Swift Parrot sightings in western Sydney this season at Castle Hill and Castlereagh (Graham will tell you more of the later). =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
