You can get this camera at most camera stores and Harvey Norman also have
it. Even cheaper is to look for it on eBay - just be careful that it is a
supplier with a good "feedback" record.
I have the FZ30 - its predecessor - which I got through eBay and I am
delighted with it. Apart from getting a digital SLR, I reckon this is the
best camera you can get under $1,000. I use it for bird photos with (I
think) very good results.
Be sure to get a spare battery and big card, at least 1Gb.

do any of you know where to get a Panasonic lumix fz50 also, do any of you
