"On the Mediterranean island of Malta there are 75 registered hunters with
firerarms certificates, per every square kilometre of the island. They call
the spring migration "Our Harvest" and proclaim it as a right to shoot any
migrating birds that use Malta as a stopover on their journey north. It is
hardly surprising that fewer migrants reach their European breeding grounds
and tragic to think that Malta has no breeding bird species whatsoever.
Please vote on an online Maltese poll in one of the web-sites of the
nationalist Maltese government in Malta. Click on the link below.
The question is in Maltese, and the translation is as follows:
