Hi againSorry if everyone is getting bored by my FNQ posting lately but i have another query. What i at first thought was an immature Brown or Masked Booby, on closer inspection I think is actually a juv Red-footed Booby. I have been emailing a couple of respected birders who agree but i would be interested to hear any other opinions. It was seen on the 30th April and 1st May on Michelmas Cay roosting on one of the cruise boat tenders (along with the Black Noddy!!). On the second morning it repeatedly flew directly over us so close i needed a wide angle lens! I have uploaded them to: http://www.pbase.com/davidstowe/boobys (i promise it's not a porn site!)
