It could be worthwhile keeping a look-out for Swift Parrots in SE Queensland now as Paul Walbridge
has asked me to pass on this sighting he made on Sunday 6th May.
Paul said he saw 7 Swift Parrots flying (swiftly) over the Helidon - Flagstone Creek road, near Flagstone Creek, approx 100 km west of Brisbane, SE Queensland. He identified them from the flight, general shape, under-wing colour and call. The birds were last seen heading for Helidon a few kilometres north.
