Steve Clark posted: G'day all The International Ornithological Congress has just updated its list of Recommended English Names. It's available as a download (Excel spreadsheet). Though some of you might be interested. http://www.worldbirdnames.org Cheers Steve Interesting but not really relevant to us.That is a list of "English names" but we in Australia use "Australian names" or, as I prefer, "Australian common names". It is good, though, to see the use of capitalisation. To paraphrase a "much disgraced Australian Senator": So there you go.
