I am a regular visitor too and have been on one of these tours - fascinating
as you get to places off bounds to birders. Doubt you will get any new birds
but still worth going

Water Discovery Centre. Learn about our recently completed $160 million
upgrade, and view one of Melbourne's largest bird sanctuaries.

Where: Water Discovery Centre, Western Treatment Plant, New Farm Road,

Free two hour bus tours will be conducted during the weekend between
9.30am - 2.30pm.
