Western Treatment Plant open community weekend (5-6 May)
Tour the 11,000 hectare site, and explore our exciting and interactive
Water Discovery Centre. Learn about our recently completed $160 million
upgrade, and view one of Melbourne's largest bird sanctuaries.
When: 5 May & 6 May 2007, 9.00am - 5.00pm
Where: Water Discovery Centre, Western Treatment Plant, New Farm Road,
Werribee. (Melways 205 E12)
Free two hour bus tours will be conducted during the weekend between
9.30am - 2.30pm.
Places are limited. To book, please call 131 722 on weekdays.
