Hi Anthea, Sure, all fair points and for 99% + of TV viewers, it wouldn't matter. I would wish though that the deception wasn't there. The stories that have come out in the last few days about this have been interesting. Yet things have improved a lot, since 30 years ago. Similar could have been filmed with wild fauna but it would have been difficult. It would create less confusion though to admit to that, "these bits were filmed with captive fauna (or whatever)". Maybe it is mentioned in the credits. Would Monica Attard (ABC, Media watch) be interested? Probably not. Philip |
