with all the discussion about Bush Thick-knees and their presence in Brisbane - I was at the Oxley Common this morning and wondered has anyone seen them there at any point? - The Common looks like it could well be a suitable habitat for them. There were also Thick- knees at the nearby Sherwood Forest Park some years ago - again, have they been recorded there by anyone in recent times?
