Tim Murphy asked what happened to the resort off the coast of Bougainville and the 2 hornbills. The hornbills probably survived but the resort didn't. If you are referring to the resort on Arovo Is off Arawa then it was totally destroyed. Burnt to the ground and the jungle has reclaimed the island. I visited the resort after the uprising and had difficulty finding the buildings. Just a few walls covered in vines. Huge trees growing where there was once manicured lawn.
