Dear Birders, Phil Gregory advised me yesterday that the Laughing Gull recently reported from Cairns is still around. It is apparently a bit erratic in its comings and goings but well worth looking for along the Esplanade by any birders going to Cairns. I saw it immediately in front of the "Lagoon" swimming pool a couple of weeks ago.
