I have seen this disorder only once and that was also in a Pied Currawong,
which was found dead on a road in Sydney.
I wondered what the bizarre growths on the bird's feet were but didn't put
too much thought into it.
Now I know what it is.It would be interesting to find out, which bird species this mite mostly affects. Kurtis Lindsay |
