Hi Phil,

Last year I put out a short paper on the current distribution and
abundance of Common Starling and Common Myna in south-east Queensland*,
which also briefly summarises the early introductions to Qld (and
corrects a couple of errors in print).
If you want to see this paper and have difficulty accessing it, send me
your mail address.

Cheers

Peter

Hi All

I am very keen to get information about the birds that were
transported from England etc on boat durings the 1700-1900s. ie the
introduced birds. We are particularly interested in Starlings,
Blackbirds and Song Thrushes.

Thanks
Phil.
