I went and had a look at Boonooroo yesterday, unfortunately didn't see the Asian
Dowitchers (that I know of, how in the heck do you guys pick them out from so
many?), but
did take a few photos. Having realised some time ago that I suck at shorebird
ID, I was
wondering if someone might be kind enough to see if I got things right at
http://www.pentaxing.com/photos/thumbnails.php?album=search&search=boonooroo

Thanks,

Deane P. Lewis

If anyone is near Boonooroo (Maryborough, SEQld), might be worth your while
to drop in at high tide. Was there with Jack Hunt & had 2 Asian Dowitchers
with the Bar-tailed Godwits this morning. 135 Marsh Sandpipers at Maroom is
the highest count I've had there from memory.

Cheers,
Chris
