Large flocks of Corellas are a common sight in Sydney and WIRES had done frequent captures of injured or ill birds. A large flock (30+) has done the rounds north of Arncliffe for the last two years and there is a resident group of up to 100+ around Blakehurst/Dolls Point which includes a number of Long-bills. A Red-tailed Tropicbird (Phaethon rebricauda) has just turned up on a Trans-Tasman vessel and is on it way to Taronga for assessment.
