A Ringed Plover has been seen and photographed at St Martin's Tank on Saturday 3rd February. St Martin's Tank is a lake in the Yalgorup Lakes system south of Mandurah. Take the road to Preston Beach. Just before you get to Lake Preston, turn road on a limetone based road. Drive for quite a few kms (maybe 10 or more from memory), until you see a sign for a track on your right. Follow this track for a couple of kms to the camp ground. There is a walk track to the lake a couple of hundred metres away. I will certainly be going down there in the next day or so, so I will post an update.
