Long-standing friend and devout birder Jan England dropped in on us to not
only help out around the place but to also provide a welcome break from
continuous house renovations.  We visited nearby Broadwater Camping Reserve
[some 20km north of Nanango, in the South Burnett, SE Queensland].  Even the
intermittent rain of the day eased off while we strolled along the banks of
the waterway.  Our tally included:
