Hi Scott,
We live in Tassie, and have found a few decent CD's of various bird-calls in the ABC Shop here. The best is for Tasmanian Birds, called "Australian Bird Calls - Tasmania" by David Stewart. Next comes "Australian Bird Calls - Favourites", also by David Stewart, and then "Favourite Australian Birdsong" by Andrew Skeoch and Sarah Koschak. Also not bad for Tasmanian birds is "Rhythms of the Tarkine - a natural history adventure", by Sarah Lloyd and Ron Nagorka.

These are listed in temrs of numbers of birds covered, and ease of use, etc.

However, even with these, our range is still pretty limited. If you find out any useful further info - or if anyone else has any useful info - I'd appreciate it if that could be passed along.

Happy new year to all, happy birding, and happy listening.
