Hi Peter,

Yes have seen Superbs there before. I will be back again in mid-January when
there should be more fruit around.

Great that "they" saved that small pocket of Big Scrub.

I have read that rainforest spread from Ballina to Lismore at one
stage....only 1% remains. Very sad.

My targets for Nightcap are Marbled Frogmouth, Rufous Scub-bird, Albert's
Lyrebird and of course Coxen's Fig-Parrot!

  Regards,
  Charles

      Hi Charles

Great Spot, would also rate as one of my favourite birding spots!

White-eared Monarchs and Superb-fruit Doves are also pretty regular along
that stretch of road and including the old Bi8g Scrub Flora Reserve.

  Peter
