Hi Carl,I don't know how well you know these species but could the 'Nutmegs' have been juvenile Chestnut-breasted Mannikins? My experience with the two species is that they usually occur separately, in slightly different habitats. Others may be able to comment on their occurrence at Pitt Town. Regards Greg Clancy |
