Greetings, Saw near enough to 300 Great Crested Grebes at Lake Barrine, Atherton Tablelands this afternoon. Birds were in two rafts of about a hundred and about 200. Also saw nine Chowchillas in three parties. There was an aggregation of pale-yellow Robins; 5 adults and at least 3 young. I have seen then with groups of other species but not forming a group of their own. Magpie Geese flying over as I type this.
