The following sighting has just been reported.

Area: SA

Date: Monday, 20 November, 2006
Observer: Colin Rogers
Location: Dr Creek Saltfields Centre track, eastern end, west of small
bridge on samphire spit with two Pacific Golden Plovers. (SA)

Observation:
American Golden Plover (Pluvialis dominica) (1) Usually seen in the vicinity
of the location described north west of the centre track but relatively
close to the track. Approach from the east on morning high tide and from the
west on evening high tide.

Entry to the Dry Creek Saltfields is restricted. Contact members of the SAOA
or myself if you need to arrange entry.
