I think that this clinches it.
I apologise for the size, but that is very difficult to judge, especially
when you are almost on top of the bird.

I have a couple of (poor quality) photos of a juvenile White Winged Triller
that was raised by WIRES a few years ago. It has barring across the crown,
white flanks and under tail coverts and a pinkish beak, it is considerably
smaller than a Noisy Miner, but this is a very young bird. I think it's a
WWT.
