Hi all,
The Woodswallows have arrived in Hazelbrook. This morning at about 8.30 I
counted 250 + birds flying over my home, I was at the tail end of the flock,
they congregated about 1.5ks away and I estimate 700+ birds.I couldn't get
close enough for a good ID By 9.30 they had moved on. Probably heading
towards Carol Probets, at Katoomba.
I haven't heard a Koel yet this season, but the Channel bills are having fun
with the Currawongs.
Cheers Lynda

I
hope they hang around for a while.
Their arrival seems to coincide with prevailing wind conditions. In this
case westerlies I think, but I actually didn't take notice!
