Hi Everyone,

At last I managed to see the Phalarope on Monday 9th Oct in Walsh's Lagoon at
Werribee. Thanks to all those people who sent updates to the list to help
narrow down the ponds in which to search. We had a great day although we did
not see anything else unusual. I'm amazed the Phalarope was still there after
missing it in February and to now see it in breeding plumage was an extra bonus.

While visiting my friend Polly Cutcliffe in Geelong we went to Lake Lorne on
Tuesday where we managed to see 9 species of ducks including Australasian
Shoveler and Blue-billed Duck covering all expect Musk Duck which we had seen
the day before at Werribee. What a great spot.
