With many Blackbirds in my area I have seen them swoop cats getting to close
but never humans.

Dear all
I've had a lot of experience with blackbirds, mainly when living in Surrey,
Hampshire and London, UK. I've never been swooped. When disturbing near
Nests, they usually fly off making their loud danger calls.
