Hi all,

I was lucky enough to win a whale watching trip last week, so on Sunday
whilst watching Humpback whales and dolphins I also managed to do some bird
watching out on the water.

Didn't see that much, but managed to sight;

At the Harbour - Osprey, Crow, Welcome Swallow, Rainbow Lorikeet, Magpie
Lark, Magpie, Pied Cormorant, Little Pied Cormorant, Little Black Cormorant,
Pelican, Silver Gull, Crested Tern.

Out on the water I saw - Masked Booby, Brown Booby, Australasian Gannet,
Crested Tern, Gull-billed Tern, Caspian Tern, Pied Cormorant, Little Black
Cormorant, Little Pied Cormorant, Pelican, White Bellied Sea-Eagles and two
small tern-sized completely black birds which I couldn't get a long enough
look at to say what they were (other than that they were not Little Black
Cormorants).

And plenty of whales too.

Happy Birding
