Hi all I heard a Boobook Owl calling as I was walking up the road from Killara station (Sydney northern suburbs this evening - 6 Sept). The bird called five or six times from a large tree just by the station footbridge as it joins Culworth Avenue - all this at 6:10pm. I couldn't see the caller - it was dark and I had no torch and it's a tall tree. I'm sure the other commuters wondered what I was up to!
