  Hi All,

A productive day of birding last Sunday at Broken Hill's 'Living
Desert' - a site I visit quite regularly.

  - White-backed Swallow: at least 10

  - Redthroat: One male singing, 2 females and 2 newly fledged juveniles
sheltering at the base of a bluebush

  - Rufous Songlark

  - Chirruping Wedgebill

  - Zebra Finch

  - Peregrine Falcon

  - White-fronted Chat

  + other more common species

Eremophila alternifolia, E. Longifolia and Swainsona formosa (Sturt's
  Desert Pea) also flowering.

Also, the bird list provided at the nature reserve states that Rufous
Fieldwren has also been seen at this site. Is anyone able to confirm
this as the habitat looks a bit thrashed out for that to be the case.

  Cheers,

  Andrew.
