Good to see so many people supporting the Panasonic cameras. I've had an FZ-20
(5 megapixels, 12x optical zoom) for nearly 2 years and I like it as much as
when I first bought it - perhaps more.
Although it has been superseded by the FZ5, FZ7 and FZ30, I have no plans to
replace or upgrade it in the foreseeable future. I think the only way to get
better photos (esp. birds) is to go for a digital SLR - but then you spend more
on lenses than on the camera!
Some of the best websites for comparisons and ratings of digital cameras are:
http://www.dpreview.com/
http://steves-digicams.com/

http://www.imaging-resource.com/

You can compare online and store prices at a number of Australian websites,
such as:

http://www.shopferret.com.au/
http://phorums.com.au/
http://www.productreview.com.au/
