Hi All,

I could be way off beam here, but doesn't the NZ Silver Gull (sometimes split
as a separate species, Red-billed Gull) have a shorter and darker-red bill?
Maybe the birds that Evan refers to with shorter and darker bills are of NZ
origin? Just a thought. Cheers.
