Hi,We also have Australian Ravens which soften bread in the birdbath. I presume that in this case when the bird baths ran out, he used the dam, realized fish were attracted and they were more of a meal than bread. What I would really like to know now is whether that Crow is the only one in the vicinity which does it and/or whether the Crow's offspring use the method. ie is this cultural trait passed on.
