Observed three male Scarlet or Flame Robins at about 4.30pm in my backyard. Once again did not stay around long enough for definite id. Chests were darker than normal. More crimson than scarlet. Gave the normal Robin "tic" call with Robin flicks of tails and wings. Does anybody know if there is a record of male juveniles showing a darker red chest or are there are crosses with Rose or Pink Robins??
